SuperSize Side Effects

Just like every supplement out there, there are potential side effects that accompany Athletic Xtreme SuperSize. While there are relatively few side effects with AX SuperSize, there are still some things that you need to watch out for, so precautions must be taken to ensure that you stay safe.

This is not an end-all, be-all document, and comments are welcome below. As always, consult your doctor before beginning any supplement regime, especially if on prescription drugs (we cannot answer questions about them). This site is not run by Athletic Xtreme, nor are we affiliated with them in any manner, and we are not responsible for the contents of their product.

For your safety, the instructions MUST be followed in order to minimize any SuperSize side effects. The side effects of SuperSize are as follows, and while they are relatively rare, you must be cautious and aware of the potential side effects. The side effects of SuperSize can be more common for individuals who are taking medications or have pre-existing medical conditions.

Potential SuperSize Side Effects Explained

Let’s take a look by examining the potential dangers of the main ingredients.

Creatine Side Effects

While it is a highly effective supplement, there are no known side effects of creatine monohydrate, the form of creatine found in AX SuperSize. There are often rumors floating around about creatine being bad for your kidneys, but this is untrue, and has not been backed up by any studies. In fact, all studies have shown that there are no negative side effects of creatine monohydrate when supplemented.

Caffeine Side Effects

Caffeine is one of the ingredients of SuperSize that does have potentially negative side effects. It is typically fine for people when used properly, but if taken in excessive doses then some side effects may occur. If you are already consuming a large amount of caffeine without SuperSize, you should want to cut back on your caffeine intake, and also start with a low amount of SuperSize. SuperSize should not be mixed with other stimulants whatsoever, so if you are taking any other pre-workout supplements that are stimulant based, you should stop taking those immediately, as the amount of caffeine from the two supplements could potentially cause negative side effects. Negative side effects of caffeine include anxiety, insomnia, heart palpitations, muscle twitches, irritability, and more.

Caffeine is also a diuretic to those who aren’t used to it, so be sure to consume more fluids than you normally would, as excessive caffeine intake can lead to dehydration. Staying properly hydrated is especially important for active individuals, so you should make sure to hydrate especially well while consuming AX SuperSize. The side effects of AX SuperSize can for the most part be avoided, as exemplified with the caffeine side effects.

Side Effects of Leucine Nitrate

Leucine Nitrate is one of the most important ingredients in SuperSize, but as a result there are some potential side effects. These instructions must be followed in order to ensure that you remain healthy while taking AX SuperSize. Nitrates are known to lower blood pressure, so the appropriate dose must be taken to avoid lowering your blood pressure excessively. Before taking any supplement, consult your doctor to see if it is safe for you, regardless of whether or not you are taking any other medication.

With that being said, do not mix Athletic Xtreme SuperSize with medications for erectile dysfunction. We cannot answer questions regarding any specific prescription drugs, but erectile dysfunction medications should not be taken with this supplement, and you should consult your doctor with regards to any other medications.

With non-stimulant, but arginine-nitrate based pre-workout supplements, such as Yok3d or NO3 Chrome, a maximum of three caps of Yok3d or NO3 Chrome, with one scoop of SuperSize should be taken. This is due to the aforementioned issue of lowering blood pressure by too much.

Other Ingredients and Possible Dangers

The other ingredients in SuperSize are all naturally occurring compounds, sometimes bonded so that they remain stable inside of your digestive system – this means more gets to your nervous system and less gets excreted or converted to waste – and THAT means less potential sides!

Side Effects of SuperSize Overview

So as you can see, there are a few potential side effects of SuperSize, but they can be avoided with relative ease for the most part. You should consult your doctor before starting to use this supplement, and extra care should be taken if you are taking any prescription or over the counter medications.

If you do notice any negative side effects, stop taking SuperSize immediately, and consult your doctor about the side effects. Some individuals should take extra care and be especially careful before taking SuperSize.

The side effects of SuperSize can be especially dangerous for individuals who have certain medical conditions. These medical conditions include, but are not limited to cardiac arrhythmia, stroke, seizure disorder, psychiatric disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, heart, liver, kidney, or thyroid disease, difficulty urinating due to prostate enlargement, or if you are taking any medications, especially erectile dysfunction medications or a Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitor (MAOI). Provided all the precautions are followed, there are very few side effects that cannot be avoided. The SuperSize side effects are rare but they still occur, so as such you should be careful with taking the supplement.
